Important Definitions
An asterisk (*) in the "Academic Year" column above indicates a scholarship that has an application process outside of the electronic process.  See department faculty for application instructions.

New Student (N): You are a new student if you have not completed credit courses at TTC.  Please note that for purposes related to scholarships, you are considered a new student if you are a dual credit or transfer student.

Continuing Student (C): You are a continuing student if you attend TTC currently or have attended within the last three terms.

Returning Student (R): You are a returning student if you have attended TTC before, but not within the past three semesters.

Full Time Student (FT): You are a full time student if you are attempting 12 or more credit hours in one semester.

Part Time Student (PT): You are a part time student if you are attempting less than 12 credit hours in one semester.  Please note that in order to be considered for scholarships, you must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours in one semester.

Hours Attempted: All hours for which you have been billed and earned the grade of an A, B, C, D, F, W, SC, or U.

Hours Completed:  All hours for which you have been billed and earned the grade of an A, B, C, D, F, SC, or U.

Grade Point Average (GPA): Your most recent cumulative grade point average at time of scholarship deadline.  Please note that awards based on GPA will consider the ratio  of attempted to completed credits.
