The following resources will help you with various assignments covered in SPC 209 online course.

                                                             NetLibrary  (Online Electronic Books)

Electronic books (e-books) are available on various  topics covered in SPC 209 through TTC’s Online library (netLibrary).  Using keywords, enter the topic or subject you are studying.  The resulting book titles are all fully available online.  Some of the titles found in NetLibrary include:

Books available in hardcopy format

The library has numerous titles available in hardcopy format.  Using the library's online catalog, type in the keywords interpersonal communication, or any other specific concepts of interest and a list of titles will appear.  Titles that show a location of stacks, are titles in the book stacks available for check out.  Titles that state electronic resource are e-books through (NetLibrary).  Some examples of titles found include:

Opposing Viewpoints
Magazine and Newspapers, Viewpoint essays (providing different sides to an issue), selected websites, statistics, primary documents, etc.  are found in this database on a variety of topics.   Remember to think of different search terms when using any database.  For example, information on "infidelity" may be found using the word "adultery", or "extra marital".  Information on "siblings" may be found separately under "brothers", "sisters" or "brothers and sisters" and relationship.

Infotrac - Expanded Academic
Journal articles on a wide variety of topics.  Try a variety of terms for better results.

The Research link from the library’s web page provides resources such as an MLA citation guide, web site evaluation guide, and statistical information.  You will also find specific course resource pages and subject guides.

A good source for writing help is The Owl at Purdue, Purdue University’s Writing Center.  This site walks you through the complete writing process.
