This database provides access to numerous scholarly journals with full-text refereed articles, book reviews, newspaper articles, etc.  With daily updates, this database will provide you with the most current written information on numerous topics.

ERIC (Educational Resources Information Clearinghouse)
The ERIC database is the world's largest source of education information. The database contains more than one million records of journal articles, research reports, curriculum and teaching guides, conference papers, and books. Each year approximately 33,000 new records are added. Included in the database is The ERIC Clearinghouse on Elementary and Early Childhood Education,

Hardcopy/Print Format Journals

The library also subscribes to a number of journals in hardcopy/print format in the area of Early Childhood Development. These titles are located in the library of at least one of the three campuses (Berkeley, Main, Palmer).  Journals are for library use only; however, each library has photocopy machines available.

BOOKS

Titles from your Recommended Book list can be found by using the library’s Online Catalog.  Different titles are found at the three campuses.  Any title found in the catalog can be sent to any of the three TTC libraries, whichever is most convenient.  These titles are books in hardcopy/print format.  Several titles on the list are also available through the TTC’s electronic library, netLibrary.  The entire book can then be read online.  Additional titles of interest in the area of education, teacher development, early childhood development, etc. can be located using different subject/keywords in both the online catalog and netLibrary.
