ONLINE DATABASES
The LRC’s online databases can be found under the "Research" link on the library's homepage. These databases contain online journal, magazine and newspaper articles as well as chapters from reference materials. Databases can be accessed on and off campus. Access off-campus requires a current (updated once each term) Library ID number (13 digit bar code number found on your Trident ID card). Infortrac General Onefile – A one-stop source for news and periodical articles on a wide range of topics. Millions of full-text articles, many with images. Updated daily.
Medline – Find journal articles in ophthalmology publications - Provides authoritative medical information on medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, pre-clinical sciences, and much more. Created by the National Library of Medicine, MEDLINE allows users to search abstracts from over 4,600 current biomedical journals.
NetLibrary – Contains thousands of electronic books which can be read online. Using a keyword search will return more titles on your subject.
Proquest Direct - Access to full-text articles on career and technical education.

DICTIONARIES & ENCYCLOPEDIAS – the LRC owns several dictitonaries and encyclopedias which can be used in the LRC.
