The Foundation provided $988,473 in total support to Trident Technical College. Support activities include scholarships, minigrants, faculty/staff development, special events, other restricted programs, capital improvement funds and the IP telephony system used throughout the college.
The Foundation:
• Fosters local business relationships and raises awareness of TTC’s mission
• Promotes scholarship awards and endowment opportunities
• Provides funds for classroom equipment and materials
• Encourages faculty/staff professional development through tuition assistance
• Recognizes the outstanding service and leadership of faculty, staff and retirees

| Scholarships |
The Foundation awarded over $135,000 to 142 students from 54 scholarship funds. The sixth annual TTC Scholarship Luncheon honored recipients and donors in March. Eight new funds were established: Sharon and William Asbill Associate in Arts and Science Scholarship, Force Protection Scholarship, The Garden Club of Charleston Scholarship, Rotary Club of Goose Creek Scholarship, Second Chance Scholarship, Sarah and Ladson Williams Endowed Scholarship, Southland Landscape Management Scholarship, Top Programmer Scholarship. |
| Minigrants |
The Foundation and TTC awarded $48,655 to 22 departments for instructional equipment. The Foundation received 95 such requests and was able to fund 47 requests. |
Faculty/Staff Development |
The Tuition Assistance program provided $103,373 to 212 employees who successfully completed 834 credit hours at TTC and 14 other accredited institutions. |
