The Foundation's program provided me with the opportunity to improve my printing skills in the workplace. The course I took was both educational and rewarding. I recommend the Tuition Assistance program to any employee who wants to enhance his or her job performance.

I am completing my Associate in Arts degree and will transfer to The Citadel (evening program) to obtain my bachelor's degree in Business Administration. By taking courses through the Tuition Assistance program, I have developed new skills that have allowed me to become more productive in my position at Trident Tech. An education is a vital tool in today's job market, and this program is giving me that edge to enhance my career goals.

In 1991, TTC and the foundation established a minigrant program to provide funds to faculty and staff for equipment, materials and special resources. The program is designed to enhance the learning experience of TTC students while bridging the gap between instructional needs and departmental budgetary constraints. The annual allocation for minigrant awards totals $50,000 for 2008-2009. Sources of financial support for the grants include the Foundation’s annual campaign, TTC faculty and staff campus campaign and the college. Each minigrant has a limit $1,200.
The Foundation awarded over $135,000 was awarded to 142 students from 54 scholarship funds. The sixth annual TTC Scholarship Luncheon honored recipients and donors in March. The Foundation established eight new funds:
- Sharon and William Asbill Associate in Arts and Science Scholarship
- Force Protection Scholarship
- The Garden Club of Charleston Scholarship
- Rotary Club of Goose Creek Scholarship
- Second Chance Scholarship
- Sarah and Ladson Williams Endowed Scholarship
- Southland Landscape Management Scholarship
- Top Programmer Scholarship.

- The Campus Campaign began in 1980.
- Since its inception, the campaign has raised just over $800,000.
- Since 1992 (except for 2003) the campaign has had a participation rate of 90% or greater
- The 2008 Campaign had 91% participation and raised over $52,000. This was the most successful campaign to date.
