Saturday, August 16 & Two day Producer’s Workshop for all Sunday, August 17 SC Film Production Fund Applicants at TTC, 920 building.
Wednesday, September 10
Two (2) Copies of Applicant’s Script are Due into Trident Technical College’s Film, Media and Visual Arts division office in the 500 building, room 122 on Main Campus by 12:00 noon.
- Scripts MUST be three hole-punched and bound with brass brads.
- The Title Page MUST ONLY include the script’s title: NO name, address, or other contact information allowed anywhere on the document.
- Scripts MUST be formatted according to industry standards and typed in courier, size 12pt.
- For those without a professional scriptwriting software program, there is a free template download for Microsoft Word: http://www.screen2screen.com/writing/default.asp. The website has good information for proper formatting.
Raymond Moody, Administrative Assistant for the Film, Media and Visual Arts division will accept the scripts. He will enter the screenwriter’s contact information into a database and assign the scripts a number. He will write that number on the title pages of both copies. The scripts will be sealed in manila envelopes and the screenwriter must sign the back of each envelope. The scripts will be separated into two boxes: one will stay at Trident as a back-up; the other will be shipped to the script consultant.
Wednesday, October 15
Trident Technical College will announce top four submissions via web site. All submissions, evaluations and a summary of mean scores will be available for pick-up from the Film, Media and Visual Arts division office in the 500 building, room 122 on Main Campus. |

Monday, October 20
5:30 PM – 500 Building, Room 104 – Main Campus Mandatory Meeting with Top Four Applicants The top four applicants will meet with Trident to discuss the SC Film Production Fund grant requirements.
Friday, November 7
Review of Individual Grant Proposals Each of the top four applicants will be scheduled for a one hour private session to review individual SC Film Production Fund grant proposal. Time and location of these meetings will be announced.
Friday, December 5
Final Grant Proposals Due into Trident Technical College’s Film, Media and Visual Arts division office in the 500 building, room 122 on Main Campus by 5:00 pm.
