TTC Scholarships > Force Protection Scholarship
Force Protection Scholarship

Established in 2008 by Force Protection, Inc. in honor of U.S. service men and women and to assist TTC students enrolled in selected programs related to business, mechanical engineering, computer aided design and welding.

Student Eligibility:  New, returning or continuing students are eligible to apply.

To qualify:  Must be a resident of Berkeley, Charleston or Dorchester counties; must be enrolled in a) an associate degree program for General Business (International Business career path), Management (Leadership Development or Transportation Logistics career paths) or Mechanical Engineering Technology or b) a certificate program for Computer Aided Design I, Welding Gas Metal Arc and Flux Cored Arc or Welding Gas Metal Arc and Flux Cored Arc Advanced; must be enrolled in at least six (6) credit hours; must have a cumulative minimum grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale); and must demonstrate financial need.  Preference is given to veterans of any branch of the U.S. military.

Award amount/use: An award of up to $1,000 ($500 for fall semester/$500 for spring semester) for tuition, fees, books, and education-related supplies and equipment.
