Established in 2008 by the Goose Creek Rotary Club to assist graduates of Goose Creek High School and Stratford High School who wish to enroll in any program of study at Trident Technical College.
Student Eligibility: New, returning or continuing students are eligibe to apply.
To qualify: Must be a graduate of either Goose Creek or Stratford high school (graduates of the current academic year will receive priority over graduates from previous years); must be a resident of Berkeley, Charleston or Dorchester counties; must be enrolled in any program of study; must be enrolled in six (6) credit hours; must have a cumulative minimum grade point average of 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale); and must demonstrate financial need.
Award amount/use: One-time award of up to $1,000 for tuition, fees, books, and education-related supplies and equipment. Scholarship recipients may re-apply and will receive equal consideration with new applicants.
