Established in 1997 by the late Elizabeth B. Hogg in memory of her daughter Elizabeth Douan Rafford, a Dental Assisting student at TTC, to benefit students in the second semester of TTC's Dental Assisting program.

Student Eligibility: Returning or continuing students are eligible to apply.

To qualify: Returning second semester Dental Assisting student with a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA; enrolled in a minimum of 12 semester credit hours; have completed DAT 154 with a grade of B or higher; demonstrate financial need; and demonstrate a commitment to the dental assisting profession by active participation in activities such as student organization involvement, attendance at local dental assisting meetings, etc.

Award amount/use: A one-time award of up to $2,500 for tuition, books, required fees, equipment and materials.
