Established by Trident Health System to benefit Nursing students.

Student Eligibility:  Returning or continuing students are eligible to apply.

To qualify: Applicant must be a student enrolled in TTC’s Nursing Program who has successfully completed at least two semesters of nursing, and has at least one full semester remaining at the time of the award; has a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5. Submit two letters of recommendation; (One letter must be from a clinical instructor verifying the applicant’s (a) clinical ability, (b) good attendance to class and clinicals with no pattern of absences and (c) no more than one unsuccessful attempt in a clinical nursing course. The second letter must be from an SNA advisor verifying active SNA membership which is defined as: attends SNA meetings regularly, with only occasional absences and participates in at least 50% of the fundraising and community service activities sponsored by the SNA.); complete a TTC Scholarship Application, and a Free Application for Federal Student Aid.

Award amount/use: A one-time award of up to $1,000 for tuition, books, required fees, equipment and materials.
