Established in 2006 in honor of Dr. Merle Shepard to encourage motivated TTC students to pursue productive careers in horticulture.

Student Eligibility: New, returning or continuing students are eligibe to apply.

To qualify: Be a new or returning student entering or currently enrolled in TTC’s Horticulture program; maintain at least six credit hours per semester with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0; be a South Carolina resident; and show financial need.

Award Amount/Use: One time award of up to $1,500 for tuition, fees, books, and education-related supplies and equipment.
