Browser Tune-up

Each semester before you log in to WebCT, we recommend that you go through the browser tune-up to ensure that your browser is supported by WebCT.  You may have problems if you are using an unsupported browser.   We are using WebCT version CE 4.1. 

You must have Java installed on your computer in order to use some features of WebCT.  As you go through the browser tune-up, pay particular attention to the section called,  Enable Java.  If you don't have Java, you can download it from a link on the browser tune-up page.

  1. Go to the WebCT browser tune-up.
     
  2. If the browser tune-up does not resolve your issues, contact the WebCT Helpdesk at webcthelp@tridenttech.edu.  

Be specific in your description of the problem.  Send the exact error message you receive when you try to log in, along with the following information.

  • Your first and last names
  • The last 4 digits of your social security number
  • The course(s) in which you are enrolled
