Interpersonal Violence Counseling (IPV), part of Counseling and Career Development Services, provides assistance to individuals experiencing varying types and degrees of violence in their lives.

Every year, 1.5 million women and 834,732 men are victims of physical violence by an intimate partner. This means that every 37.8 seconds, somewhere in America a man is battered. Every 20.9 seconds, somewhere in America a woman is battered. On college campuses, 32% of students report dating violence by a previous partner.

The IPV Coordinator will provide a direct and confidential line for survivors and victims of domestic violence and/ or other crimes through counseling, coordination of referrals, liaison with Public Safety, survival tips and safety measures and tri---county general information and referrals.
