Counseling & Career Development: Our services include short-term individual counseling; skill development in areas such as communications, assertiveness, stress management, time management, problem-solving, and conflict resolution; crisis intervention and prevention. We also offer interpersonal violence counseling and alcohol and other drug abuse education.
In addition to individual counseling, we maintain a number of Personal Skills Self-help Handouts for most of the areas listed above. Also, Activities, Groups, and Workshops are periodically scheduled in these areas.
These free services are available to currently enrolled TTC students or recently-enrolled students planning to return to the College. If we are not able to meet your needs, we will make every effort to refer you to another community resource.

Counseling Services provides webcam access at each TTC campus for students to speak with a counselor who is located at a different campus other than the campus where the student is attending classes. Also, if you are enrolled in distance learning courses and are in need of counseling services, you may speak with a counselor via webcam. Some services may not be appropriate for meeting in this format. Please contact our office for details. |
