Commencement Speaker:  Mr. Tom Stubbins, Vought Aircraft Industries, Inc.


Congratulations Trident Technical College graduates of 2008! 

After all the hard work, you are ready for the big night—Trident Technical College's Commencement Ceremony 2008 to be held on Friday, May 2, 2008.

The ceremony begins promptly at 7 p.m. at the North Charleston Coliseum, 5001 Coliseum Drive, North Charleston.  The doors of the Coliseum open at 5 p.m.  A mandatory dress rehearsal and line-up for graduates begins at 5:30 p.m.  Family and guests of graduates should be seated in the upper concourse level by 6:45 p.m. 

Graduates should park in Lot A of the Coliseum.  Parking at the Coliseum is free for graduates and their guests on the ceremony day.
 
The ceremony lasts approximately two hours.  No tickets are required, and the event is open to the public.  No reserved seating is availble in guest seating.   Guests are urged to carefully attend to children and valuables.

2008 Graduation Ceremony Speaker
Mr. Tom Stubbins, Vought  Aircraft Industries, Inc.

Mr. Tom Stubbins, Vice President of Human Resources for Vought Aircraft Industries Inc, is TTC’s 2008 Commencement address speaker on May 2, 7:00p.m. at the North Charleston Coliseum.

Mr. Stubbins is responsible for Vought’s human resources strategy and policies. Additionally, he is responsible for benefits design, compensation, succession planning and organizational development. He has been with Vought and its predecessor companies since 1980 when he joined Vought Corporation, an LTV Corporation subsidiary. Prior to becoming vice president, he was the company’s director of Human Resources and Administration.

Mr. Stubbins earned a bachelor’s degree in business studies from Dallas Baptist University.
