Welcome to Developmental Studies Mathematics
The Learning Center Division offers MAT 032, Developmental Mathematics.
MAT 032 is a SELF-PACED and COMPUTER-ASSISTED course delivered in a lab setting where the student completes independent, individualized study under the direction of an instructor. The course covers basic mathematical skills through pre-algebra.
Hawkes Learning Systems is the software program used for tutorials and testing. This math program allows students to work on removing deficiencies detected through diagnostic testing. It provides students the opportunity to follow an individualized study plan, to do homework, and to create and take practice tests.
Learning Center math faculty are available to work with students one-to-one and are committed to helping them succeed in MAT 032.
