The program is accredited by the American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists (ASHP).

Certification

We strongly recommend that all graduating students sit for the National Certification Exam sponsored by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). Most pharmacies in the Tri-County area are seeking certified technicians. This exam is offered three times a year online at a local testing site.   The cost is $129.  A Candidate Handbook must be obtained from the PTCB in order to sit for the exam.
