Stacey Mosay, RHIA, CCS-P, CPC-H
Stacey is the Medical Record Coder Program Coordinator for the academic Coding Certificate Program in the Division of Allied Health. She is a graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina with a B.S. in Health Information Management. She has over 12 years experience in health information management spanning many areas, including: Director of Medical records for a multi-hospital health system, inpatient and outpatient coding, quality improvement, health care data management, business office management, regulatory compliance, reimbursement analysis, medical staff credentialing, and consulting. She is a registered member of the American Health Information Management Association and the American Academy of Professional Coders. She is a member of the Low Country Coders Association and participates in the Coastal Region Coding Roundtables. Stacey also serves as a coding and billing text book auditor/reviewer for Delmar Publishing Company. In conjunction with teaching, Stacey is now pursuing her Masters degree in Health Administration and Education.
