In order to qualify for Project ASSIST, you must receive a full or partial Pell Grant, have a cumulative GPA of 2.2 or better, and not enrolled in an Associate in Arts nor an Associate in Science degree, and qualify in one or more of the following two ways:
1. You are a single parent, displaced homemaker, or single pregnant woman:
- You are a single parent- unmarried or legally separated from a spouse and have full or joint custody of a minor child or children
- Displaced Homemaker- an adult who has worked primarily to care for the home and children
- Single Pregnant Woman
2. You may qualify if you are enrolled in one of the following technology programs:
- Air Conditioning/Refrigeration Degree
- Aircraft Maintenance Technology Degree
- Automotive Technology Degree
- Civil Engineering Technology Degree
- Commercial Graphics Degree (Graphic Design and Animation career paths only)
- Electrical and Automated Technology Degree
- Electronics Engineering Technology Degree
- Engineering Design Graphics Degree
- Environmental Technology Degree
- Film Production Degree
- Information Systems/Computer Technology
- Machine Tool Technology Degree
- Mechanical Engineering Technology Degree
- Radio & Television Broadcasting
- Telecommunications Systems Management Degree
- Welding
