    • Member of the Fulbright Grant group traveling to West Africa
       
• Teaching philosophy:  To help students realize they are a valuable part of a society & a culture; to encourage them to examine belief systems, their own and those of others, so they can take an active, informed part in that society & culture; to empower students by helping them gain knowledge and achieve their goals through the self-confidence they acquire as they learn.
