The Personal Digital Assistant loaded with the Nursing Central software will allow you to have essential references in your pocket.
***Smart phones may not be substituted for a PDA and are not allowed in clinical settings. ***
- The Tungsten E2 and the Nursing Central software will be available for purchase at the TTC bookstore.
- The Tungsten E2 PDA meets the minimum requirements for the Nursing Central software. Other PDAs may also meet the requirements.
- Minimal requirements for the Palm OS or Windows Mobile OS are stated on: http://www.unboundmedicine.com/store/nursing_Central_pda_wireless
- Select “Nursing Central” details for this information.
- Charge and set up the PDA first following the manufactures’ instruction.
- Follow the instructions to install the Nursing Central software from Unbound Medicine from a personal computer. Do not download and install on a campus computer.
- Once downloaded, software cannot be transferred, sold or returned.
Technical support will be provided by the PDA Company and Unbound Medicine http://nursing.unboundmedicine.com/support ONLY, not TTC faculty or employees.
